Clear answers before you book

Plan your event music with confidence

Do I need to know which musician or ensemble I want?

No. Start by telling us about the venue, guests, schedule, budget, and the atmosphere you want to create. Find Your Sound will recommend the live music and lineup that best fit the event.

How does the planning process work?

You submit an inquiry, we learn about the event, and Find Your Sound recommends the appropriate musician or ensemble. We then coordinate the proposal, agreement, payment, production planning, venue communication, and performer details through one point of contact.

How does pricing work?

Pricing is based on the date, venue, location, event length, lineup, production needs, schedule, repertoire, travel, and performer availability. After we understand the event, you receive a clear proposal for the recommended option.

What is included in the quoted price?

The proposal is designed as one clear client-facing price and can include musicians, standard production, setup, breakdown, planning, coordination, and the sound support appropriate for the event. We confirm the venue’s existing system before finalizing the quote.

Will I have one point of contact?

Yes. Find Your Sound coordinates the client-facing process so you are not separately managing musicians, production questions, payment, and venue details.

How long do musicians perform?

Performance time and breaks are planned around the event schedule and the type of lineup being booked. Your proposal will clearly state the coverage included.

Can the music stay at a conversation-friendly volume?

Absolutely. We match the lineup and production to the role music should play, whether that is subtle background atmosphere, featured entertainment, dancing, or a combination.

Can we request specific songs?

Yes. We review important songs and musical preferences during planning. Some requests are included, while extensive custom arranging, rehearsals, or specialty personnel may affect the proposal.

Do you provide PA systems, staging, and lighting?

We coordinate the production required for the event through the performers, venue, or trusted production partners. Larger staging, lighting, and technical packages are included in the final proposal when needed.

Can musicians perform outdoors?

Yes, when weather protection, safe power, temperature, and equipment conditions are appropriate. A weather backup plan is required for outdoor bookings.

Do your musicians travel?

Travel and destination events are considered. Transportation, lodging, flights, and extended travel time are reflected in the final proposal when applicable.

What deposit is required?

A signed agreement and nonrefundable deposit are required to confirm the booking. The exact payment schedule is included in the proposal and contract.

What happens if the event is postponed or cancelled?

The event agreement explains cancellation, postponement, and rescheduling terms. We work in good faith to preserve the booking when a new date and appropriate performers are available.

Can the musicians change after booking?

Find Your Sound confirms the act or lineup appropriate to the booking and coordinates qualified substitutions when necessary. Any material change to what the client purchased is communicated and handled according to the agreement.

How will the performers dress?

Attire is confirmed during planning and can range from polished casual to cocktail, formal, or black tie depending on the event.

When do performers arrive?

Arrival and setup times depend on the lineup and production needs. We coordinate load-in, soundcheck, and venue access before the event.

Is insurance available?

Insurance documentation can be coordinated when required by the venue or client. Any special policy requirements should be shared early.

Can we request a specific musician or band?

Yes. Specific requests are welcome and are confirmed based on availability, but you do not need to select a performer before contacting us. We can recommend the strongest fit for the event.
